WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point rifle team will kick off the second half of their 2016-17 season by hosting No. 11 NC State Saturday morning.

- The Black Knights (3-4, 1-3 GARC) return to action after taking an eight week break for the holidays.
- In their last time out the cadets faced TCU at the Tronsrue Marksmanship Center and fell 4712-4657.
- Army's top scorer in smallbore came at the hand of Nathan Brewer who scored a 580.
- In air rifle it was Marvin Lewis with a 590.
SCOUTING NC STATE (6-4, 3-2 GARC)
- The Wolfpack is coming off of an equally long winter break with their last competition being against Alaska-Fairbanks.
- Their last win came against Memphis at a neutral site where NC State won 4642-4632.

- Army will return to action Monday, Jan., 16 at home against Nebraska, with action starting at 9 a.m.
