BOSTON, Mass. – The Army West Point softball team fell to Boston University, 11-1, in the series finale Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston University jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a couple of RBI doubles.
- Army responded in the top of the second that started with a leadoff double by Ashley Yoo.
- After an error put runners on second and third, Maddie Kim hit a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Yoo.
- The Terriers responded quickly, scoring seven runs on six hits in the second to extend their lead to 9-1.
- They scored two more runs in the following frame to close out the scoring.

- The Black Knights return home to face Quinnipiac on Thursday for a twin bill at the Army Softball Complex.
