Black Knights Drop 1-0 Contest to Terriers

WEST POINT, N.Y. —The Army West Point women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest to Boston University on Wednesday night.
The game was very even with both teams putting up eight shots, but the Terriers got one across the goal line in the 47th minute to steal away the victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first half, the Terriers put themselves ahead 1-0 thanks to a goal by Anna Heilferty. Sophia Woodland setup the play in the midfield booting the ball down to the right corner where Jenna Oldham was able to cross it to Heilferty.
HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES
- Army falls to 3-5-3 on the year and 0-2-1 in the Patriot League.
- Boston U. improves to 5-6-1 overall while boasting a 2-1-0 mark in conference action.
- The Cadets' defense had a tremendous showing tonight holding the Terriers to two corner kicks. Mia Padon and Sydney Shafer were the strongholds for Army.
- Trinity Garay led the Black Knights offensively with two shots.

- The Black Knights travel to Bucknell on Saturday for a 5 p.m. match.
