"This team broke a record today and I couldn't be more excited for them. We keep fighting and getting the job done when each team is going to give us their best. We continue to move the needle. We've scored 41 goals in 2 games. That's extremely impressive. We made some great stops on the defensive end that lead us to push transition and make plays on the offensive end. I thought we did a good job competing in the draw circle as Colgate had a great unit out there. All in all, I'm proud of this team for winning eight straight. I know they're hungry for the next." - Michelle Tumolo
CADET'S CORNER
"I'm really proud of how hard we worked throughout the entire game. It wasn't our strongest day on the draw circle, but we made up for it by playing great defense and working hard together on offense. We had each other's backs the whole game and kept the energy high on every part of the field. This game was really important to us, and it was even more important to get eight consecutive wins. It's something Army lacrosse has never done before so I'm proud to be a part of it!" – Jolie Riedell
UP NEXT
- The Black Knights will start a two-game homestand on Wednesday, March 30 against Lehigh at 4 p.m.
