Sprint Football Rolls Over Caldwell 56-12

The first Army drive was eight plays, 83 yards, and capped off with a Henry Beck five yard touchdown run. After forcing a Caldwell fumble, Army found paydirt yet again. This time it was Arthur Lavalais punching it in from four yards out. Calwell got on the board to make things 14-6 after a missed PAT.
Beck took a pass from Kyle West and found the endzone to start the second quarter scoring, which was followed up with a Caldwell score and a failed two-point conversion, making it 21-12. Lavalais would score again with 14 seconds left in the first half to go up 28-12 heading into halftime.
The third quarter saw a turnover and punt for either side, but West got the Black Knights back on track with a one yard touchdown on a broken play making it 35-12.
West got one more drive where he hit Ben Deloit from 22 yards out to go 42-12. JP ross found the endzone from a yard out on the next possession. One the next possession for the Black Knights Carson McFadden hit Steven Craig from 15 yards out for a touchdown.
The 56-12 score would hold as the Black Knights moved to 4-0. Kyle West finished with 243 passing yards and three total touchdowns. Arthur Lavalais had a massive game with 166 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Ben Deloit got over the century mark with 116 receiving yards.
The Army defense was stellar, forcing six turnovers and shutting the Cougars out in the second half.
Next up for the Black Knights is a big division game against Mansfield on Oct. 26 at 1PM.
