Sprint Football Names Powell, Windsor Captains

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point sprint football head coach Mark West announced that James Windsor and Logan Powell will be the captains for the 2024 season.
Windsor was a stud on the defensive side of the ball last season leading the team with 4.5 sacks. On the year he racked up 7.5 tackles for loss and 18 total tackles.
Logan Powell anchored the Army offensive line last season ending up on the CSFL Offensive All-Conference First Team last season.
The 2024 season kicks off with the home opener on Sept. 27 against Chestnut Hill at Shea Stadium at 7 PM.

Defensive Captain James Windsor: "It is an honor to be selected as team captain by my brothers. I wouldn't trade the memories I've made on this team in the past 3 years for anything. We've worked hard this off season and are ready to showcase our skills. I'm excited to have the ability to fight beside these men for one more season."
Offensive captain Logan Powell: "I love this team and these guys, so being selected by them to be a captain is such an honor. I look forward to working with these guys and getting better every day so that we can accomplish the goals that we have set for ourselves."
