Davis, Guevara-Cragwell Given Athlete of the Week Honors Following Virginia Challenge Performance

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Nathan Davis and Javan Guevara-Cragwell were both named to Patriot League Athlete of the Week honors the league announced on Tuesday.
Nathan Davis was named this week's Male Track Athlete of the Week.
Davis wins the honor after setting a new program record in the 3000m Steeplechase. The junior completed the race in 8:41.63, beating the former record set at 8:43.00 by just under two seconds.
Alongside his mark being a new program record, his mark serves as the top mark in the Patriot League and is ranked among the top 35 best marks in NCAA Division I.
Javan Guevara-Cragwell was named this week's Patriot League Male Field Athlete of the Week.
Guevara-Cragwell was given the honor after setting two season-best marks in the long jump (7.46m | 24' 5.75") and triple jump (15.34m | 50" 4') at the Virginia Challenge.
He now leads the Patriot League in the triple jump, while holding second in the League in the long jump. His long jump mark also ranks 76th in NCAA DI, while the triple jump mark ranks 56th at the Div. I level.
The Black Knights will now head to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the running of the Penn Relays. The meet will begin Thursday, April 24 last through Saturday, April 26, with the meet streaming live FloSports.
