Petkus and Pogue Named Captains for the 2025 Season

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point sprint football Head Coach Mark West has announced the seniors Louis Petkus and Chance Pogue have been named captains for the 2025 season.
Pogue was a regular starter for the Black Knights on the offensive line during the 2024 season, helping the Army to an undefeated record and a CSFL Championship. Additionally, the offensive lineman was named to the 2024 CSFL All-Academic Team and helped the Black Knights with over 1800 yards of offense on the ground.
On the defensive side of the ball, Petkus appeared in all eight games for the Black Knights. The senior from South Lake, Texas., finished the 2024 season with 30 solo tackles and 46 total tackles. In the 2024 CSFL championship game, Petkus collected five tackles helping the Black Knights to an undefeated season and a championship. The senior was a 2024 CFSL All-Conference and 2024 CSFL All-Academic Team selection.
The Black Knights will opened the 2025 season with a 27-21 victory at Chestnut Hill and will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 3 for the home-opener at Shea Stadium against the Molloy Lions.
