Army West Point Women’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule
June 03, 2026 | Women's Soccer
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Head Women's Soccer Coach Tracy Chao has announced the team's 2026 schedule. Chao enters her seventh season leading the Black Knights and sixth fall campaign at the helm as Army looks to build on its 2025 Patriot League Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.
The Black Knights will compete in 18 regular season matches, including 10 contests at Malek Stadium. The schedule features three opponents that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament, highlighted by road tests against Air Force and Big 12 matchup in Boulder, Colo., versus University of Colorado to open the season. Other key matches include another Big 12 opponent West Virginia and ACC foe Boston College.
"Our schedule is exciting. Our non-conference will be tough, but it will certainly prepare us for Patriot League play," said Chao. "We're excited to bring several nationally recognized programs to West Point while also competing in some unique environments on the road."
Army's non-conference slate offers a broad national test, featuring opponents from six conferences across the country, including the Mountain West, Big 12, ACC, Ivy League, CAA, and America East. The Black Knights open the season with a trip to Colorado, where they will face service-academy rivalry with Air Force before facing a Colorado program coming off a Sweet 16 appearance in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Following the opening road swing, Army returns home for a four-match homestand that includes NCAA Tournament participant West Virginia. The stretch gives the Black Knights an early opportunity to test themselves against a variety of playing styles before Patriot League competition begins on Sept. 19.
One of the most anticipated dates on the schedule comes on Oct. 9 when Army and Navy meet in Army–Navy Cup XV at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. The rivalry matchup returns to a national stage after last season's dramatic 2-2 draw, which allowed the Black Knights to retain possession of the cup.
