Joe Riley joined Army West Point in February 2025 as Assistant Athletics Director of Capital Projects & Facilities.
In this role, he is responsible for leading, planning and coordinating capital projects for the athletic department. This includes projects at Michie Stadium, the Hollender Center and all other athletic facilities. He is also responsible for coordinating with Army Athletic Association Facilities for maintenance and upkeep of all athletic facilities.
Prior to Army West Point, Riley spent the last 7 years at Fordham University, serving as Assistant Equipment Manager, Facilities and Events Manager, Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities and Event management, and most recently Associate Athletics Director for Facilities and Event management. He also served as Sport Administrator for the Golf and Squash teams. Prior to Fordham, Riley served as fitness director at Club Fit in Jefferson Valley, N.Y..
Riley graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2014 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and a B.S. in Kinesiology, and was a four-year member on the Golden Eagles football team. Riley also received a master’s degree from St. John’s University in Sports Management in 2015. He resides in Ossining, NY with his wife Nicole.
