Joe Sessa enters his 24th season with Army sprint football. This year will mark the fifth season Sessa will serve as the team's defensive coordinator.
His coaching tenure with the sprint program began with the 1998 season, serving on the offensive side of the ball.
A native of Lindenhurst, Long Island, Sessa now lives in Slate Hill, N.Y., with his wife Barbara.
He has one son, Joey, who played on the National Champion Lacrosse team at Yale in 2018
