Mike Resnick is in his ninth season with the Army West Point Athletic Association. He was elevated to Associate Athletics Director of Internal Operations after previously serving as Assistant A.D. for Team Operations and Director of Team Operations for the department.
As Assistant Athletics Director for Team Operations, he had oversight of the Team Operations office, which manages the following programs in the athletic department: meal planning, team-specific budgets, purchasing, banquets, logistics, facility scheduling, team travel and transportation. Additionally, Resnick has been instrumental in the negotiation, implementation, and oversight of the Anthony Travel, Academy Bus and Teamworks contracts.
In addition to his Team Operations responsibilities, Resnick oversees stadium operations for all home football games at Michie Stadium and serves as a primary event manager for several sports. Resnick has also managed numerous Patriot League Championships and assisted in hosting the 2017 NCAA Men’s Gymnastics Champions held at West Point.
Resnick oversees all special events for the department. Throughout his time at West Point, he has been involved in several professional team visits to include, but not limited to, New York Knicks Training Camp, New Jersey Devils, Florida Panthers, Team USA Basketball, New York City Football Club and the Atlanta Falcons.
As a member of the Army-Navy Cup Steering Committee, he plays a significant role in the execution of the annual Army-Navy Soccer match held annually at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. Resnick also plays a critical role in the planning and execution of the Army-Navy football game.
Resnick is a 2012 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Business Law. He earned a master’s degree in Sports Management from Columbia University in 2015.
Resnick is a current member of CEFMA (Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association).
