Nate Erickson joined Army West Point as the Assistant Athletics Director – Compliance in April 2024.
Erickson comes to West Point following a stint as the Director of Compliance at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. During his time in Massachusetts, Erickson oversaw the recruiting process for the school’s 16 sports, as well as initial eligibility certification. Additionally, Erickson was responsible for the oversight of the institution’s National Letter of Intent program and their Academic Progress reporting, while also crafting policy related to NIL and Alston awards.
Prior to UMass Lowell, Erickson spent time at the University of Cincinnati, working in roles both within UC’s Athletic Compliance office and the University’s Office of Equal Opportunity and Access.
Erickson is a member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance and participates as a mentor in several alumni programs through his alma maters.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Erickson earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2019. He then went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 2022.
Erickson resides in Pine Bush, NY with his wife, Sarah, and their golden retriever.
