Women's Swim & Dive Wraps Up Day One of Terrier Invite

BOSTON, MASS. - The Army West Point women's swimming and diving team completed day one of the three-day Terrier Invite hosted by Boston University on Friday. The Black Knights sit in first place with 314.5 points heading into the second day.
COACHES CORNER
"Very solid first day performance for both of our teams," remarked head coach Mickey Wender. "I feel very good about where we are at right now."
"I think our plebes are performing well and learning a lot. Our senior leadership was really good throughout the day and I think the best is yet to come."
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
The team of Kelly Hamilton, Kara Wineinger, Kaylie Breslin and Monica Sowinski took first in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:48.57. Additionally, the foursome of Cecelia Croman, Jess Ambrose, Josephine Marsh and Bailey Smith came in second with a mark of 3:48.95.
Four Army swimmers claimed second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:36.70.
Day two of the Terrier Invite will begin at 10:00 a.m.
