COACHES COMMMENTS
"We are pretty excited about this trip. The team has not been to Air Force in quite a few years. In fact, none of the athletes have ever been to Air Force, so this is a new range and a new experience for us."
"We have been working on consistency. This is where we have been coming up short lately. We have has some really good performances but have not been able to put it all together to meet our full potential. We've been putting in lots of range time and working with the Center for Enhanced Performance and I'm pleased with how it's been going."
"This is a unique match in that four of the five service academies will be competing amongst one another. The coaches all know each other pretty well. Rick Hawkins and I shot at the Army Marksmanship Unit together. Mike Anti and I went to school together and then served at the AMU. Launi and I were on the same Olympic team and I've known Billy Kelly for a long time. So it's sort of a reunion with bragging rights at stake."
