WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point gymnastics team continues its road run with a service academy rival matchup at the U.S. Air Force Academy Saturday. The head-to-head contest will begin at 2 p.m. ET.

- No. 12 Army travels to No. 8 Air Force for the first time since the 2015 season. The Falcons visited West Point last year where the Black Knights came out on top, 422.65-417.00.
- The Cadets trail Air Force 16-14 in the overall series, but last year's win at Gross was a momentum shift.
- Army enters the weekend off the head-to-head contest against No. 5 Penn State, while Air Force has faced #1 Oklahoma, SC United and No. 10 Minnesota.
- The Falcons have scored over 400.00 on three occasions this season.
LAST TIME OUT
- No. 12 Army improved from the West Point Open, but fell in a head-to-head contest against No. 5 Penn State
- For the second week in-a-row, the vault was Army's premier event. The Black Knights held a 0.150 advantage over Penn State thanks for four gymnasts who recorded marks over 14.000.
- Ryan Wilson championed the event with a 14.450 and was followed by teammates Leo Genders (14.200), Seth Cannon (14.050) and Alejandro Tombrink (14.000).
- The Black Knights also stood out in the high bar in which they swept the top three spots. Nathan Goff led the charge with a 14.050, while Cannon (13.950) and Genders (13.850) were the next-best finishers.
THE LINEUP
- The Black Knights will look to utilize a range of athletes for Saturday's meet. (It is subject to change).
- The floor event will feature Joe Pritts, Genders, Erik Del Cid, Goff, Cannon and Grant Cullen.
- Darrel Yamamura, Wilson, Nick McAfee, Goff, Elliott Herman and Cullen will represent Army on the rings.
- Elijah-Ty Phelps, Cullen, Herman, Goff, Cannon and McAfee will participate on the parallel bars.
- Pommel horse will see Brandon Shively, Yamamura, Rex Scott, Phelps, Goff and Cannon in action.
- Genders, Wilson, Cannon, Tombrink, Pritts and Del Cid will team together for the vault.
- Last but not least, Yamamura, Tombrink, Cannon, Herman, Genders and Goff will compete on the high bar.
