Army Takes on Defending Champs Saturday

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point sprint football team ventures to Philadelphia, Pa., to face the reigning CSFL champion Penn Quakers on Saturday at 7 p.m.

ARMY (2-0, 2-0 CSFL)
• Army has opened its season white hot, outscoring its opponents 121-0 through the first two contests.
• The 121 points is a program record for the first two games of the season and is the first time since 2015 the Black Knights have posted back-to-back games with at least 50 points.
• This is just the third time since the turn of the century that Army has opened a season with two shutouts.
• Senior running back Quay Gilmore leads the team's rushing attack with consecutive 100+ yard rushing efforts.
• Gilmore documented 226 yards on 26 carries and has scored six touchdowns.
• Junior quarterbacks Keegan West and Brady Miller have split time guiding the offense. West is 14-for-24 for 239 yards and three touchdowns through the air, while Miller is 8-for-15 with 54 yards and three scores.
• Army's top receiver has been Tom Williamson, who totaled 162 yards on six receptions and two touchdowns.
• Defensively, junior James Scroggins leads the team with 11 tackles.

• Penn opened its season with a dominant 69-6 victory over league newcomer, Caldwell.
• Last time out, the Quakers defeated Chestnut Hill, 20-7.
• Through the first two games, Jake Klaus leads the squad's ground game with 182 yards on 32 carries and three touchdowns.
• Eddie Jenkins is Penn's quarterback, completing 21-of-37 passes for 383 yards and four scores.
• Jenkins' favorite target has been Aidan Kelly, who has hauled in seven catches for 134 yards and a touchdown.
• Defensively, Matt Gorman is the lone Quaker with double-digit tackles with 21, including a sack for an eight-yard loss.
