Baseball Hosts Holy Cross for Midweek Conference Affair

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Fresh off a series win vs. Lehigh, and winners of six of nine in league play, Army West Point Baseball will host Holy Cross Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.Â

» Holy Cross currently leads Army by a half game in the Patriot League standings, as the teams battle for a top two spot and the right to host a postseason series.

» Army took two of three games from Lehigh April 13-14, including a doubleheader sweep vs. the Mountain Hawks April 13. That, combined with a doubleheader split at Lehigh March 23, gives the Black Knights a 3-2 season series win. Monday's game vs. Lehigh ended a run of 14 consecutive Patriot League games that have been part of doubleheaders. The Black Knights were 9-5 across this stretch.Â
