Men's Basketball's Ryan Curry Named to Patriot League All-League Third Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Junior guard Ryan Curry received Patriot League postseason honors on Monday, earning a spot on the Patriot League All-League Third Team.
Curry receives the All-League Team honors for the first time in his career. He has earned Patriot League postseason honors in the past, being named on the 2023-24 Patriot League All-Rookie Team.
Ryan Curry directs the Black Knights as the starting point guard, finishing the regular season averaging 13.5 points and 4.6 assists a game, both the best marks on the team, while also adding 4.0 rebounds a game.
This season, Curry became the 38th player in Army Men's Basketball history to reach 1,000-career points and the 10th player in history to reach 300 career assists, both milestones being reached at Holy Cross on Jan. 14, 2026.
During league play, Curry finished 11 games in double figures and three games with 20 or more points. Curry's most recent double-figure performance was 12 points at Lafayette. He scored a team-high 17 points in Army's last win at Loyola Maryland.
He scored his season-high, 27 points, in Army's win against Holy Cross, tying his career-best with seven made three-pointers. He finished with 24 points and eight assists against Boston U and added 19 points in Army's first matchup against Loyola.
In the first matchup against Colgate this season, Curry finished with a game-high 24 points with six made three-pointers. In Army's first win against Lehigh, Curry earned his first career double-double, finishing the game with a team-high 19 points alongside a career-high 14 rebounds.
Curry also was named the Patriot League Player of the Week on Dec. 29, 2025, after having a dominant all-around performance in the final game of non-conference play against the Binghamton University Bearcats. He neared a triple-double, finishing the game with 23 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Curry also hit those numbers while shooting 55.5 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from behind the arc.
The junior scored in double figures in 21 games during the regular season and reached 20+ points in five total games, while also adding 5+ assists in 14 games this season.
The Black Knights now enter the postseason and will head on the road as the No. 9 seed to take on the No. 8 seed Bucknell University Bison.
The two teams split the regular season series this year, with each team winning on the road. In the last game in Lewisburg, the Black Knights earned an 87-84 overtime win against the Bison.
Tip-off time against the Bison in Lewisburg inside Sojka Pavilion is set for 7 p.m. ET on March 3 and will stream live on ESPN+.
