Baseball’s Scott Named Patriot League Player and Rookie of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point baseball's Mason Scott has been named Patriot League Player and Rookie of the Week, after going 6-for-11 at the plate in Army's series win at Lehigh on April 10-12.
The freshman from Colorado got the start at third base in each of Army's four games in Bethlehem. The Black Knights took three of the four contests, including both matchups in Saturday's doubleheader.
Scott's starts in the Lehigh series were his first of his career in Patriot League games. He had entered the series with a trio of starts in midweek contests vs. Merrimack (March 10), Saint Peter's (March 24) and Cornell (March 31).
Over 28 at bats in 2026, Scott is hitting .429 with 16 RBIs.
Army begins a 10-game homestand Tuesday against non-conference foe Wagner.
