Baseball to Return to Peak Events Battle at the Ballpark in 2027

SAN ANTONIO – Army West Point baseball will return to the Peak Events Battle at the Ballpark in 2027, where the Black Knights will face Air Force, Notre Dame and Nebraska on February 26-28.
The 2027 Battle at the Ballpark will host four of the country's top teams over three days of play at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, which serves as the home of the San Diego Padres' Double-A affiliate, the San Antonio Missions.
The weekend tournament will have two games per day in a round-robin format.Â
The full schedule, including matchups and game times, will be finalized soon.
Fans can sign up now for pre-sale ticket access at the BATB page on www.peak.events.
Travel packages and broadcast details will be announced at a later date.Â
"The San Antonio Missions are thrilled to host the Battle at the Ballpark at Wolff Stadium next spring," San Antonio Missions Assistant General Manager Mickey Holt said. "As Military City USA, it's only fitting that we bring together two of the nation's premier service academies for what promises to be an incredible event."
The Black Knights previously participated in the 2024 edition of the same event, held in Sugar Land, Texas. There, Army faced Louisiana Tech, Air Force and Creighton, defeating academy rival Air Force 13-2 on March 2.
