BOSTON, Mass. – The Army West Point softball team was handed a pair of shutout losses by Boston University, 5-0 and 7-0, in Saturday's twin bill.

The Black Knights dropped to 27-14 and 7-4 in the Patriot League, while the Terriers improved to 13-21 overall and 5-3 in league play.

Rookie Lacey Swafford extended her hitting streak to 13 games with a single in game one before seeing it come to an end in the night cap.
Gladys Esparza-Gallegos documented the team's seventh three-hit effort of the season in the series opener.
Renee Poirier's consecutive hitless innings streak in the circle came to an end at 14 innings when Alex Keinen hit a home run with two outs.
Ashley Yoo's two-hit effort in the second game gave her 38 hits on the season which is the most on the team.
